Big Girl

Brea is such a big girl now. We took her to sit on Santa's lap because we figured she might be scared of him next year and we wanted to get a good picture.

Telling Santa what she wants for Christmas
B can also sit in her bumbo chair, but if we leave her in there for too long she starts to get tired and lean on the side of her chair.

Happy girl!

2 Month Shots!

Brea had to go in for her 2 month shots this week. Poor girl got two shots at the same time and cried and screamed louder than I have ever heard her cry.

The best part was that she got Pink Camo band aids. Pete loved the band aids!

Brea is getting cubby! She weighed in at 11 pounds. She has gained a lot of weight since the last appointment. She loves her milk!
Dad loves to make her stand. She can stand with a little help and is getting a strong legs and neck. She can hold her head up and we have even put her in her Bumbo chair. She is such a fun girl and is happy. We are so blessed.

Silly's and Smiles

This girl is growing so fast. Lately she has been smiling so much and she is starting to even coo and giggle a little.

Laughing and smiling at silly dad
It is so fun to watch her grow and learn. She has found her hands and loves to suck on them. She loves to lay in her bouncer and kick around. She's not a skinny little thing anymore. She's got some cheeks, a belly, and even some little rolls on her thighs. She has her 2 month appointment on Wednesday and she has to get her shots. Wish us luck!

Blessing Day

Sunday was Brea's big blessing day. We were so happy that mom and dad Morphy could make it to Vernal to celebrate miss B's special day.
After the blessing we had a lunch with all of the family

Our beautiful Brea all dressed up!

We are so thankful and blessed to have this little girl in our lives. She is so much fun and we are still amazed that she is ours. I'm so thankful that Pete holds the priesthood and that he was able to give Brea the perfect blessing. We love you Brea!

We had visitors this weekend and it was so much fun! Nanny and Bobba Morphy came all the way to Vernal.
Meeting miss Brea for the first time!

We showed them around Vernal and the recreation center was one of the places we took them to
We also took them to Flaming Gorge. We saw a whole bunch of these big horned sheep, they were in the road so we had to go around them.
This is Flaming Gorge lake
Here is the Dam
Nanny and Bobba at the Red Canyon overlook
The lake again
We had so much fun and are so glad that mom and dad morphy came all the way here and that they were here for Brea's blessing (I'll post about that later). Thanks Mark and Cindy, we love you!

Just another cute picture of miss B!

We love the weekends because Pete gets to be home all day with us. We woke up Saturday morning and it was a pretty nice day. It was a little bit chilly but warm enough that we could take Brea outside. We bundled her up and she loved the long walk that we took.

Dad and Brea all tuckered out from the walk

Love this little munchkin!

.....a future supermodel? I don't know but she makes this face all the time and it cracks us up!

This girl is growing! Pete was helping me change her diaper the other day and he commented on how she was getting chubbier. I can tell mostly in her face and her belly. When I took her to her 2 week appointment she was 7 lbs 1 oz. I wonder what she is this week?

We laugh at the way she sleeps sometimes. Most of the time her hands are over her face but today she was spread eagle. We love this little girl so much. She is starting to smile more and become more alert when she is awake. I'm so excited that she is growing fast but it makes me sad that she will never be this little ever again!

Our Pumpkin!

Here she is... our pumpkin! This was the only costume that we could find that sort of fit her.

My sister came to town to visit her new niece. We had fun dressing the girls up and taking pictures.

My two loves. They are sooo cute!

We didn't do much for Halloween because we are still afraid to take Brea into public with all this sickness going around. We took her over to my granparent's house and hung out over there with them. Next year Brea will be old enough to go trick or treating!

Pictures of Baby Brea

We are so happy and blessed to have Baby Brea in our lives. She is such an angel and we love every thing that she does. Here are the pictures for those who requested them.
We thought we would show how nice Lindsey Pimentel is to everyone in our family. Lindsey sent Brea this cute cookie bouquet. It was such a fun gift, and everyone here thought that it was cool. Thanks again Lindsey.
Here is a cute picture of Brea. She sleeps with her mouth open just like her Daddy!

We tried a few photo editing things. it is pretty fun to play around with photos. on I was using the free software to make Halloween effects. You should all try it.

Everyone keeps asking me to post details of how the delivery went and about Brea, so here it is. We went to the hospital at 8:00 on Friday morning. I was contracting every 2-4 minutes. The doctor came in at about 9:00 and did an ultrasound. He told us that there wasn't enough amniotic fluid to flip her and that he didn't want to wait any longer to deliver her. They scheduled a c-section for 45 minutes later. The nurses got me all prepared and they rolled me down to surgery. At 11:30 Brea Morphy was born, weighing 6 lbs 6 oz and 20.5 inches long. We were not expecting to have a baby on Friday when we went in, but we are sure glad that we did!

It is so crazy how much newborns sleep!
Sometimes I have to wake her up to feed her.

She loves to have her hands by her face and she sucks on them alot
I can't believe how much I love this little girl.
