Chocolate Love!

One good thing about living in California are the great fruits and veggies! We went to the farmers market on a Saturday morning and had lots of fun. We walked down the street and saw all the great fruits and vegetables from the area. There was also candy, bread, jerky, honey, jelly, flowers, and so much more being sold. A band was playing while everyone walked around. We forgot to take the camera but we took some pictures of the really yummy strawberries that we purchased. We used some belguim chocolate in our fondue pot to dip our strawberries in. So Good!

FALL is coming!

We went over to Mom and Dad Morphy's for Sunday night dinner. We had yummy hamburgers! Across the street from their house there were two great big piles of Almonds ready to be taken away. I was so amazed, I'd never seen anything like that before.

What a cutie! Ha!

Now you see em.........now you don't!

We wanted to get some kind of pet, so we went with the cheapest route. Kati's betta fish(that we left in Utah) inspired us to get some fish. We went to Walmart and bought all the gear to get our fish tank started. We spent a whopping $17.00! We thought it would be fun to fill up the tank with a large variety of fish, so we bought a betta, 2 guppies, and 8 goldfish. After the second day the water seemed to be getting very cloudy. We had a fish sacrifice. Poor 10 cent goldfish, they were flushed down the toilet. We made sure they had their last supper while swimming in the toilet.

YUMMY!

Nothing like the taste and smell of homemade bread!

Pete had been bugging me to make bread for like a week, so the other day I called my dad up to get his recipe (cuz it is the best). I wasn't sure how it would turn out because I'd never made it before. As you can see I think it turned out pretty great!
The Kitchen Aid that Mom Morphy gave to me worked awesome! I love it, thanks Cindy!

A proud cook!

Camp Out!

Pete and I felt like going camping but we didn't want to drive up to the mountains and do all the preparation that it takes to go camping......why would we need to anyways when we have a perfect place in our backyard to pitch our tent! We sat up our camp chairs and had our own little "fake" fire.

SMORES.........MMM....SOOOOOO.........GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!

We blew up the air mattress with my blowdryer and the mattress barely fit in the tent with absolutely no room to spare. The tent box says its a two man tent but really I think it should only be for 1.

We had a fun little "get away" I guess you could call it!
