Long Trip!

We are finally here! Wahoo! We left for Utah on Friday morning at 3:30 and drove until we got to Provo at 7:30. Glad it is over with.

This picture is in St. George. We stopped there to eat a little lunch with my Grandma who lives in St. George. It was a short but sweet visit!

We did a little snowmobiling this morning with our friends Travis and KyLynn. Thank goodness for good friends to give us a place to stay and a good time!

Happy Holidays!

So it's December already and we are getting ready for Christmas. It is almost here! We've got all our decorations and lights up. We even have all of our shopping finished! Now we just count down the days!
Here are just some pictures of what we have done to our house for the Christmas season! They are blurry but hopefully you'll get the picture.

It's hard to decorate your house when you are first married and don't have much to decorate with but it's still fun to make due with what we have.

I thought I'd throw in this last picture because I think it is a pretty picture. This is looking down our street. The trees and all the pretty colors are great!
Winter here is different for me because it doesn't snow, it isn't as cold, it gets really foggy, and there are still leaves on the trees! It is different but I am getting used to it.
Happy Holidays Everyone!

Trick-or-Treat!

Candy, Candy, Candy! Halloween is always a fun time of year. All the decorations, candy, and costumes. We thought we would have lots of trick-or-treaters but the rainy weather slowed some people down a little bit. We had lots of Candy left over. Mom and Dad Morphy came over and brought pizza. They had a great time watching all the kids come and get candy since they live out in the country and don't get trick-or-treaters.
We dressed up as GI Joe and GI Jane. This was our first Halloween together and it was tons of fun!

Fruits and Flowers

It is fall and we are still getting some fruit and flowers! This picture is just as you walk out our back door. Pete has wrapped the grape vines around these posts and they are growing like crazy.

We have grapes! Yah!

This is our grapefruit tree. We can't believe how many there are.

We still have flowers blooming!
We love everyone and hope you all have a Happy Halloween!

Birthday! Birthday!

Yesterday was Pete's 23rd Birthday! He was so excited to hear that we have a new niece that he gets to share his birthday with!

This is his Birthday Cake

We are on top of a lookout bridge in the middle of a huge corn maze. The maze is in Tracy and it is so much fun. They have the corn maze, a haunted house, pumpkin blasters, train rides, tractor rides, a petting zoo, a mini race track, places to dig for gold, and lots of other fun stuff to do!

This is us at the pumpkin patch. There were so many pumpkins lined up behind us and in front of us.

We took a tractor ride that took us through the corn. We got to see around 60 different scarecrows that kids had made. This one got first place.

This the pumpkin blaster and our favorite thing. We would load a small pumpkin into this thing and aim at some of the targets. PULL the trigger and that pumpkin shot out going 100 miles and hour. It was so much fun!

This is Pete just being pete! I hope you had a great birthday Pete. I love you so much and I am so lucky to be your wife. You are the BEST!

Saturday fun!

On Saturday Mom and Dad Morphy, Mere and her friend Hola came to our house a picked us up to go out for a fun day! The main event and our first stop was the new Bass Pro Shop in Manteca.

This store was amazing. It had so many cool things!
Pete and I loved every minute of it!

This picture was taken from a small bridge we were standing on that had these huge trout below us.

Mere and I found this tree over by the KIDS stuff. We thought is was cool, so we crawled inside.

Behind us was a shooting arcade. It was set up like a miniature forest with animals and everything. We all took turns trying to shoot the targets.

This picture is from the top level looking down. There were so many people coming to see the new store, it was crazy. The lines to check out were almost to the back of the store. I guess thats what you get when you go the first week of the store's grand opening.

Chocolate Love!

One good thing about living in California are the great fruits and veggies! We went to the farmers market on a Saturday morning and had lots of fun. We walked down the street and saw all the great fruits and vegetables from the area. There was also candy, bread, jerky, honey, jelly, flowers, and so much more being sold. A band was playing while everyone walked around. We forgot to take the camera but we took some pictures of the really yummy strawberries that we purchased. We used some belguim chocolate in our fondue pot to dip our strawberries in. So Good!
