Devri is One!

Devri is one and I cannot believe it. The past year has just flown by. Some things about Dev. Devri is such an easy going girl. She loves doing whatever her sister is doing. She has four bottom teeth and three top teeth. She still loves to eat and she is not picky. She does not like to be rocked to sleep and never has. I just wrap her up in her blanket and lay her down. She loves her binky but I only give it to her when she sleeps. Devri has finally figured out how to crawl but she doesn't do it very often because she walks around using the furniture and walls to hold on to.  She takes 2 naps a day and is now drinking about 16 oz of whole milk a day. Devri is at such a fun stage and we love how fun she is! We love you Devri girl!

Happy Birthday Devri!

11 months

I'm so late on this post but as of January 6th Devri is 11 months old. I just don't understand how they grow up so fast! Some things about Devri at 11 months:

She still loves to eat and will eat pretty much anything. She drinks four 4 oz bottle a day. I've given her a little bit of whole milk and she loves it. She has 2 top teeth, 3 bottom teeth, and one more coming up on the bottom. Waves hi and bye, claps, says mama, dada, baba (baby), be be (brea). She does a cheeese smile when you say cheese. She is walking around with the furniture but she won't walk on her own yet. She wants to do everything her sister is doing. She love love loves the bath and throws a fit when we take her out. She is tons of fun!

Christmas

This Christmas was great! We had a white Christmas in vernal. My whole family was able to be here and spend it together. We all got very spoiled. We are so blessed!

After Christmas we went with my family to Bear Lake and stayed in these condos. It started out to be a great trip....then the second day we were there Brea got sick and was throwing up, then Devri was throwing up, then the third day Pete woke up, ate breakfast, and then we were just laying around and all the sudden he was in extreme pain and started vomiting. He was in so much pain so we drove him to the hospital 45 minutes away. Long story short he had kidney stones. We left and that same day we got home I started throwing up. So from this trip everyone except Kurt and my dad got sick.  Not the funnest trip but we'll always remember it.

10 months

Devri is 10 months old now! She is still our happy girl, but she wants to be on the move to keep up with her sister and she can't keep up yet. She is a steam roller and rolls everywhere she wants to go(I think she might skip crawling and go straight to walking). She has two bottom teeth and her two top teeth just broke through. She loves to eat! She drinks four 4-5 ounce bottles a day and eats what we eat at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. She's so easy going. She goes to bed like a champ. I just wrap her up in her blanket and lay her down. She says ma ma, da da, waves hi and bye, claps when we tell her to clap, and shakes her head no. She is such a fun baby. We love you Dev Dev!

Something funny

The other night we were eating dinner and Brea got down out of her chair and lifted up her shirt. Pete says, "Brea your belly is getting bigger." Brea replies, "ya it is, and my bum is getting bigger too like mom's!"

Halloween 2012

I'm so behind on this post but here is our Halloween. These pictures are out of order but we started our day out by going to the library to do some trick or treating! We then stopped by great grandma and grandpa' house. By this time the girls were ready for naps so we went home to take a rest. When we woke up it was time for the trunk or treat. The kiddos had fun, especially Brea. She loved giving out the candy to the kids that came to our door.

Three!

Brea is 3!!!! Some things about Brea at 3

Her favorite food is blueberry pancakes or waffles with blueberry syrup. She is really into "pretend" playing. She has such the imagination. She loves to help me cook and do crafts. She still loves to be outside. She can count to 13 and knows part of her ABC's. She loves books and won't go to bed without reading one. Brea is a great older sister and is very protective of her sister. I can't believe how fast these 3 years have gone! Brea is such a fun girl and we love being her parents!

Brea is a spoiled girl and got so many fun things. Thanks to everyone for all the gifts, phone calls, and cards. She loves everything! She is so lucky to have so many people who care about her.

8 months old!

Sweet Dev is 8 months old! She is still the best baby. She still loves to eat and will eat anything we give her. She's been loving oatmeal with bananas lately. She is so content to sit on the floor and play with toys.
