Easter

We had a great Easter this year. Nanny, Boppa, and Mere came to spend Easter with us and celebrate Devri girl's blessing day.

On Saturday, Vernal City held an easter egg hunt at the baseball fields.
Getting ready to find some eggs

My aunt Sonya's family does a night easter egg hunt every year and invited Remi and Brea to participate. The kids have flashlight and have to find all the candy and eggs in the dark with their lights. It is so much fun! Brea was pretty eggcited!
They also did an egg hunt for the kids age 13-21. Mere got to do it and she made me go with her. We found a ring for Mere!

The easter bunny also left some eggs in the backyard for Brea to find
Showing Nanny what was inside her eggs
Another egg hunt at great grandma Labrum's house
Showing uncle Steve what she found.
We are so blessed to have such great families. I am so grateful for the savior and the sacrifice he made for us. I'm so thankful that we will be a family forever. Thanks to all of our family for making this Easter such a great one!

Big Girl

Our Brea is such a big girl now. I'm so proud of her. We have been potty training this past week and she is doing so good. Ever since she went #1 in the toilet she hasn't had any accidents. #2 has been a little harder for her but she is trying and I think she'll get it soon. She is talking so much. She talks all the time, non stop. Brea is such a big helper and she has to help with anything and everything. She loves her sister and takes such good care of her. Brea is so smart and learns more everyday. She is so fun and silly right now, I love it. She is definitely a two year old that throws her fits and wants to be so independent, but I guess that is how she learns. She is such a good girl and has adjusted very well to having a new sister!

Love my girl!

4 weeks

This little chickadee will be 4 weeks old on monday. WOW! How is this possible, we just brought her home from the hospital. Devri is such a good baby. She eats good and sleeps great, which is so great for me because I am getting sleep!
Here are just a few pictures of the babe!

Brea loves her sister sooo much!

1 week

One week has already passed since our little one arrived. I can't believe how time flys. Today is my first day at home alone with two kids and so far it is going fine.
Brea is doing really well with Devri. She loves her so much and asks to hold her all the time. Devri gets about 50 kisses a day from Brea (and mom and dad). I'm loving life as a mom of two girls!

Devri

Introducing Devri Morphy! She arrived Monday, February 6th 2012 at 7:50 a.m. weighing a whopping 8 lbs 2 oz and 21 1/4 inches long. She's got dark hair and long hands and feet. We laughed when we heard how much she weighed. I was totally not expecting to have an 8 pound baby, no wonder my back hurt so much. We LOVE everything about her, she is perfect!

She wanted her legs out and up since that is how she was in my stomach.
Brea loves her sister. She always wants to kiss her, touch her, feed her, and make sure Devri is being taken care of.

We are so blessed to have another baby girl in the family. We are all doing really well and its actually looking like we will get to go home tonight! (earlier than we thought) We love love love this baby!

baby news

So I had an appointment yesterday. They did an ultrasound to see if the baby was breech and......she is. My fluid levels were at 5.9 if they get below 5 then that is too low.  Dr. Griffith measured my stomach at 32 so he was worried the baby was really small and not doing well so they put me on the monitor for a while to monitor how baby was doing. She looks fine and healthy. They then took me back in for another ultra sound to measure baby. She was looking like she was around 6.5 lbs. I was hoping to try a vbac but it looks like that won't be happening. I'm ok with another c-section as long as my baby gets here safely and she is healthy. We have a c-section set up for the 6th of February. Dr. Griffith is having me come in twice a week to monitor the baby and my fluid.  So it looks like baby girl #2 will be making her way here on the 6th unless she decides she wants to come earlier! We can't wait!

Almost here!

I can't believe that our 2nd baby girl will be here soon. I've got 4 weeks until my due date! I hope she comes sooner, I'm quite uncomfortable and I don't know how much more my belly can stretch. I do have to say that this pregnancy has gone by much quicker than the first (until these last couple months). I have a Dr.'s appointment on Tuesday along with an ultrasound to check the amniotic fluid levels and see if she is breech. Hopefully after Tuesday we'll have a better idea of when this baby girl is coming!

Christmas 2011

Our Christmas was GREAT this year!

Brea wasn't to hip on Santa this year. She loved to look at pictures and loved seeing Santa but not sitting on his lap.
We got to spend Christmas in California at Nanny and Boppa's house. Brea and Grace loved these little bikes, they rode them pretty much everyday that we were there.
They also loved the porch swing
We got to do so many fun things. We went to the train tracks and watched trains go by. After they passed we walked along the tracks.
Here are the girls Christmas morning going to check out what Santa brought them.
 Santa brought Brea a trike
Pete got a .22 rifle from Santa
The girls at Great Grandpa Baker's house
Brea rode the four wheeler for the first time ever. She thought it was pretty fun.
Waiting for the four wheeler to come back so she can have another turn.
Our family going on a ride.
 My girl
These two thought it was so much fun to run up and down this big dirt pile.
Playing in the fort at uncle Mel and aunt Kim's house.
Brea did a lot of jumping on our vacation.
 Roasting marshmellos with Mimi
Mere's friend Katie was so nice to let us come ride horses. Brea and Grace weren't too sure about riding. They liked to LOOK but not ride.
Looking at all the horses and dogs at Katie's house
Brea's favorite thing to do was feed the horses. She thought it was the best thing ever!

 Wrestling with Boppa
 Mimi painting nails
 Bowling!

We were able to do so many fun things in California and our Christmas was great! Thanks to Nanny and Boppa Morphy for letting us crash your house for a week and for making our Christmas so great! We enjoyed spending time with the family that we were with and missed those that weren't there.

Thanksgiving

This year it was our turn for Thanksgiving in Vernal, so we stayed here and had Thanksgiving at my Aunt Sonya and Uncle Steve's house. Sonya had the table set so cute but I didn't get a picture until we were done chowing down.

Brea and Remi were in heaven. Boston has so many fun toys in her room. They played in her room pretty much all day. They didn't want to come eat. The girls even got great grandpa to come play.

We did an early Christmas exchange because we are all going to our spouses families houses for Christmas
Brea got some really fun games, movies, and books.
Pete got stuff to go shoot clay pigeons and I got some cute scarves. We also got a new blu-ray player, money, and gift cards! Yay for an early Christmas, we are spoiled! Thanks mom and dad, grandma and grandpa, and brothers and sisters for the great presents! We had a great Thanksgiving and can't believe another one has come and gone.

Meow!

Brea absolutely LOVED halloween this year! She was so excited and hyper. Once we got her costume on and she had her candy bucket she was ready to go!

At grandma's getting ready to go to the trunk or treat
Getting some goodies from great grandma and grandpa labrum
our little kitty
getting home and excited to go through all of her candy!
Ollie had to check out what she got.
Brea did not want to stop. We took her to some houses around our neighborhood when we got home from the trunk or treat and she was seriously running from one house to the next. We had to pretty much drag her home. Once we got her home she enjoyed seeing all the trick or treaters that came to our house. We hope you all enjoyed your Halloween!
