So I had an appointment yesterday. They did an ultrasound to see if the baby was breech and......she is. My fluid levels were at 5.9 if they get below 5 then that is too low. Dr. Griffith measured my stomach at 32 so he was worried the baby was really small and not doing well so they put me on the monitor for a while to monitor how baby was doing. She looks fine and healthy. They then took me back in for another ultra sound to measure baby. She was looking like she was around 6.5 lbs. I was hoping to try a vbac but it looks like that won't be happening. I'm ok with another c-section as long as my baby gets here safely and she is healthy. We have a c-section set up for the 6th of February. Dr. Griffith is having me come in twice a week to monitor the baby and my fluid. So it looks like baby girl #2 will be making her way here on the 6th unless she decides she wants to come earlier! We can't wait!

I can't believe that our 2nd baby girl will be here soon. I've got 4 weeks until my due date! I hope she comes sooner, I'm quite uncomfortable and I don't know how much more my belly can stretch. I do have to say that this pregnancy has gone by much quicker than the first (until these last couple months). I have a Dr.'s appointment on Tuesday along with an ultrasound to check the amniotic fluid levels and see if she is breech. Hopefully after Tuesday we'll have a better idea of when this baby girl is coming!

Christmas 2011

Our Christmas was GREAT this year!

Brea wasn't to hip on Santa this year. She loved to look at pictures and loved seeing Santa but not sitting on his lap.

We got to spend Christmas in California at Nanny and Boppa's house. Brea and Grace loved these little bikes, they rode them pretty much everyday that we were there.

They also loved the porch swing

We got to do so many fun things. We went to the train tracks and watched trains go by. After they passed we walked along the tracks.

We were able to do so many fun things in California and our Christmas was great! Thanks to Nanny and Boppa Morphy for letting us crash your house for a week and for making our Christmas so great! We enjoyed spending time with the family that we were with and missed those that weren't there.

Thanksgiving

This year it was our turn for Thanksgiving in Vernal, so we stayed here and had Thanksgiving at my Aunt Sonya and Uncle Steve's house. Sonya had the table set so cute but I didn't get a picture until we were done chowing down.

Brea and Remi were in heaven. Boston has so many fun toys in her room. They played in her room pretty much all day. They didn't want to come eat. The girls even got great grandpa to come play.

We did an early Christmas exchange because we are all going to our spouses families houses for Christmas

Brea got some really fun games, movies, and books.

Pete got stuff to go shoot clay pigeons and I got some cute scarves. We also got a new blu-ray player, money, and gift cards! Yay for an early Christmas, we are spoiled! Thanks mom and dad, grandma and grandpa, and brothers and sisters for the great presents! We had a great Thanksgiving and can't believe another one has come and gone.

We have a 2 year old! I can't believe it. Brea's birthday was yesterday (the 16th). We celebrated her birthday along with all the other October birthday's in our family (Pete's, Brea's, Grandpa's, Kayson's, and Adam's). We had lots of good food and TOO much yummy dessert!

Sooo... I'm 19 weeks now and we found out earlier this week that our baby is going to be a......GIRL! Yep that's right another girl!

During the whole ultrasound the umbilical cord was right in between the babies legs and it was still there when the tech told us our baby was a girl. She said she was 98% sure that it was a girl but she is going to do another ultrasound next appointment just to make sure that the cord wasn't something else ha ha. I'm ok with having another ultrasound, I love seeing our baby move around!

5K

Saturday we ran in a 5k together. It was fun to have someone to run with the whole time.

These are our 3rd place metals ha! We each took 3rd in our age division. I laughed when we got these, there must not have been many people in my age division if the pregnant lady got 3rd. Anyway, it was a fun run with my hubby.
Oh p.s. we find out what we are having on thursday! So excited!

I am still amazed at how crazy these ducks and fish were. Mere bought a box of cheerios and we were throwing them in the water. The fish were huge and would try to get some cereal and the ducks would like attack them. It was insane!

Arizona

So it has been a month since Brea and I went to Arizona. I've been lazy about updating our blog. Brea and I rode with my parents and brother to AZ. My brother was playing baseball for a week so we tagged along to watch some baseball and play with cousins.

Brea loved Grace's backyard. It is the coolest. They have a pool, swings, slide, sandbox, and a playhouse. Brea was in heaven!

My little sister is MARRIED! I can't believe it! I'm so happy for Lesha and Colton and their new life together.

Friday night Lesha went through the temple. It was so fun to be able to go through with her.

Saturday morning Lesha and Colton were sealed and here they are walking out of the temple doors!

I tagged along on the photo session and snapped some pictures on my own camera.

Easter

We had a great Easter! It was so much fun watching Brea hunt for eggs. She knew exactly what to do.

We had an egg hunt at Great Grandma and Grandpa Labrum's house first.

I had to tell her to keep going after each egg. She wanted to stop and see what was inside.

Brea picked like 3 of grandma's flowers and put them in her basket. I don't know if she thought they were eggs or she just wanted them in her basket.

Checking out all the goodies in her eggs. After we thought we found all of the eggs we counted them and found out that there were still 3 left and 1 of them had 5 dollars in it. Kurt, Pete, Jessie, Lesha, Adam, and I went out to search for the missing 3 eggs. I found all three....Score!

Aunt Sonya invited us to their midnight Easter egg hunt. It wasn't actually at midnight but it is done in the dark with flashlights. Brea got a lot more goodies!

Brea and I on Easter Sunday. The week before this was Brea's first week in the nursery. She absolutely loves it. We asked how she did her first day and they told us she was a little crazy. She loves other kids and gets so excited when they want to play. She needs to work on her sharing skills, but other than that she is doing great. She didn't look back or even say bye to Pete and I when we walked her in the room. I guess I should be grateful that she loves it. I finally can listen to the lessons and stay for all 3 hours!

1/2 Marathon

I finally did it! I've been wanting to run a half marathon for a long time now, so I finally signed up for the Salt Lake City Half Marathon, which I finished on Saturday morning. The run started at the University of Utah and ended at the Gateway Mall.

Thanks to Pete, Jessie, and Kurt for coming to support me. I had so much fun and I'm so glad that I ran. I finished under my goal of 2 hours and I felt pretty good after the run. I will definitely be signing up for more races!

We had some visitors come to our house. Amanda, Jordan, Lilly, Lola, and Dav stopped in Vernal for a couple days before they headed to Canada.

New Addition!

We have a new addition to our family.....it's Ollie! A girl that Pete works with got this puppy a few weeks ago and her mom has an allergy to dogs....so she had to get rid of him. She asked Pete if we wanted him and so we now have a new dog named Ollie!

We've only had him a day but he's been a great dog so far. Brea is in love with him and Ollie follows Brea everywhere. I think they'll be best friends.

Our baby is not a baby anymore. I can't believe how big she is now. She is learning new things everyday. She understands so much and knows how to get what she wants. She can say da da, ma ma, banana(nana), dog(og), Jesus, shoes, boots, night night, baby, ball, outside, owie, papa, nanny, yum yum(when she is hungry or wants a bite). She says quite a few other words, but that is all I can think of right now. Brea knows lots of animal sounds and is very good at giving hugs and kisses. She is starting to try to copy what we say and copies what we do. She will be 17 months old on the 16th of March! One more month until nursery! Maybe I will be able to stay the full three hours of church and listen to at least one talk or lesson. Here are some pictures of our Brea girl. She is getting so big!

Valentines

My Valentines Day was great! I got to spend ALL day with Brea and then when Pete got home we had this yummy dinner!

This is what I got for Valentines day! I was sooooo excited. I actually got it a little early but I love being able to run at home and not have to go out in the negative degree weather.

Brea and I are sitting here playing on the computer waiting for Pete to come home and I realized I haven't blogged for a long time. Probably because I haven't taken any pictures lately and January is just kind of a boring and long month. I've been staying busy with school, work, chasing Brea around, and doing house work. Pete has been busy working and school work. He's been in Salt Lake a lot for work and we are ready for him to be finished with his training so he can come home every night. Brea is growing fast and learning new things all the time. Just a little update I guess, nothing too exciting. Hopefully February will be a more exciting month and I'll have more to blog about!

Christmas

I'm finally getting around to posting about Christmas. We've been busy partying these past couple weeks. Early in the week before Christmas Vernal got dumped on with snow. Brea hasn't ever really played in it because last winter she was way to little. I dressed her up in this snow suit that was a hand me down from my cousin. I could not stop laughing because she reminded me of ralphie's little brother on the movie A Christmas Story. She couldn't put her arms down and the snow suit was so big, she looked so chubby!

Here is Pete the first day that it snowed. This was the first time he plowed. I think he plowed 5 more times that day since it snowed ALL day long plus All day long for two more days. So Pete did alot of plowing!

Both Remi and Brea got kitchens for Christmas. We left Brea's at home and I didn't get a picture of her with it, just some video.

This Christmas Brea was more interested in ripping the paper off and playing with all the boxes. I think next year she'll understand more of what is going on.

Remi and Brea loved the pinata. Each person is supposed to get one turn but these girls got about four, and each time they had to stop and let someone else go Brea threw a royal fit! I wish I would have gotten more pictures from our Christmas but I was caught up in all the excitement and forgot.

I had to get a picture of this because I wanted a new one so bad and I love this one. It makes doing dishes so much easier. My old faucet was one that is really low and you could hardly get anything underneath it. I'm very happy with my new faucet.

We had a great Christmas. We are so spoiled and blessed to have all the things we do.

Santa

We went to our ward Christmas party on Tuesday and Santa was there. We were nervous that Brea would be scared and cry but she walked right up to him. We were some of the last people to leave because I took pictures of all the kids on Santa's lap and when Santa stood up to leave Brea started blowing him kisses! I'm glad she wasn't scared. I wished I could have gotten a picture of her smiling.

I just threw this picture in because Pete made this really yummy pizza on the BBQ last night. The crust was crispy and tasted perfect. We'll be making it again.

We had lots of fun this Halloween, especially because Brea got to dress up and go trick or treating.

I wanted to make her costume because I hate buying costumes that are usually only warn once. So she is supposed to be Tinkerbell if you can't tell. My dad thought she was a butterfly or some kind of bug......o-well she looked cute!

Another Birthday

We got to celebrate another birthday. Pete is 25 as of today. I didn't take many pictures from today but there are a few.

I got him a nice circular saw. He's been wanting one for a while now. Now that he has one he gets to do all sorts of projects for me. First on my list is a cute little entry way table that I've been wanting.

This was his birthday cake he wanted. Angel food cake with chocolate frosting and strawberries. We had added some ice cream and cool whip to it and it was sooo yummy!

A year already! I honestly can't believe how fast this year has gone by. My baby is not really a baby anymore. I've got to say this past year has been so much fun with our Brea girl.

We took her to McDonald's to eat a happy meal and play. (1st time at McDonald's for her 1st birthday)

11 months old! Are you kidding me! My baby is a month away from being a year old, I cannot believe it!

Brea is so much fun! She is learning things so fast (especially how to get her way). Brea is such a blessing in our lives. We love her so much and can't imagine our life without her.

We were so lucky this past weekend. Nanny and Boppa Morphy came all the way to Vernal to visit us.

One of the days we walked downtown and window shopped. We did lots while they were here but it wasn't enough. Time went by way too fast!

10 Months

Brea girl is 10 months old!

Where does the time go?! Some things about Brea at 10 months:
She crawls and gets into everything
She stands up on the furniture and walks around
She knows how to clap, show us where her head, toy dog, and toy ball are at. She shows us where the birds are and our pet fish. She knows how to signal touchdown.
She loves being outside
She loves the neighbors dogs
We just barely moved the mattress on her crib down because we found her standing up
She is full of personality and she has a big smile that shows her only two bottom teeth.
Brea we love you and love the stage that your in....please stop growing so fast!

The fair was a couple of weekends ago. We took Brea to see some animals, we watched a food eating contest, ate some greasy fair food, and tried out some of the carnival rides.

I've been horrible lately about blogging. We get busy, I take pictures, but I slack on my blogging. Anyways, Mere came to visit over the 24th of July weekend. I don't know about mere, but we had tons of fun and LOVED having her here.

I'm late on this post but Brea is 9 months old as of the 16th. I can not believe it!

Some things about Brea:

She can wave hi and bye really good.
She shakes her head no.
Loves to play with paper.
She is pulling herself up onto the coffee table and couches.
She crawls a little but then lays down on her belly when she can reach what she wants.
She fake coughs when she hears someone else cough,
She also fake laughs when other people laugh.

I'm so behind on posts. After Bear lake we went to California for a week. We had so much fun we didn't want to leave!

Bear Lake

Last weekend we went to Bear Lake for a family reunion. It was so much fun. We stayed in a really big house with 59 people. We would have had more people but the Beaman family wasn't able to come. We played at the beach, on the boat, went on bike rides, took a tour of the cave, went on walks, took pictures, visited, ate, ate, and ate!

Brea had so much fun playing in the mud with dad. She couldn't stop laughing and smiling.

We also bought her this float tube hoping that she would like it. She loved it! We put her in the water where her feet could touch the bottom and she walked around screaming and laughing.

The cave was huge. It was really cool. Brea seemed to like it when she was awake. She fell asleep through part of the tour.

Today we finally got to go to the lake. We meaning the girls, grandpa and grandma. Pete, Kurt, and Braiden didn't get to come. Maybe tomorrow.

It was a little bright outside so Brea tried out her shades.

Oh and as of the 16th Brea is now 8 months old!

Some things about Brea at 8 months:
She has two bottom teeth
She can now drink between 5-6 ounces of formula every 4 hours.
(yes I said formula, she is no longer breastfeeding)
She love, love, loves the bath
She can wave bye and dance when you tell her to (if she is in the mood)
She might crawl soon because she is starting to move her legs to the side and put her weight on both arms when she is in the sitting position.
She jabbers, laughs, and screams constantly
She gets mad if we eat in front of her and don't give her any
She likes to watch Dora the Explorer in the morning
I could go on about all the things this girl does. She is so much fun and I love watching her learn new things each day. I can't believe my girl is 8 months old already!

Since the weather here is so random we can't really plan our days ahead of time. We had a "good weather day" and Pete has been dying to go fishing. We went and got the boat and headed to the lake. We caught 12 fish. It was fun and we are excited to go again.

Brea didn't know what to think of the fish but she seemed to enjoy the boat ride.

I had to add this picture in because I love it. We went to the grocery store last night and came home with some strawberries. We decided to let Brea try one and she absolutely loved it! She didn't take that thing away from her mouth for 10 minutes straight and when we tried to take it away from her she threw a fit.

Some things about Brea at 7 months:
She just cut her first tooth yesterday (her bottom right tooth and the left one will probably come shortly)
She loves this walker that we got for 5 bucks!

My first Mother's Day was great! The day started out great with cinnamon rolls made by Pete!

After church we went over to my Granparent's house and had a BBQ.

Lately I have really been missing our family! Don't get me wrong, I ALWAYS miss them, but lately it has been on my mind a lot. Maybe it is because Brea and all my nieces and nephews are growing up so fast and I feel like I am missing out. I'm taking a child guidance class and a family life class and they both talk about family so much. I've enjoyed the things I'm learning(not the homework) and it makes me appreciate my family so much more. I am so blessed to have such great families. I really miss them and wish that we could see each other more often. Life would be so much better if we all could live in the same town.

Lesha is 18 and Brea is 5 months!

I can't believe Lesha is 18 years old. She is graduating this year and it makes me sad that she is going off to college, but she is ready and I'm excited for her.

Our little chick is 5 months old now. Some things about her now:
Brea thinks her dad is really funny
She is laughing more each day
She loves when we let her try our food and drinks
Brea is getting better balance when we help her sit down (she'll be sitting on her own soon we hope)
She is very ticklish
She's very happy and loves to go on walks and runs in her stroller

Brea had her 4 month appointment today. She is growing well and very healthy. She is now 14lbs and 3 oz, and 25 1/4 inches tall. She is in the 70th percentile for her weight and 90th for her height. She is such a good baby. She only cried for a minute after her shots and seems to be feeling good now.

Ok Mere, here are some pictures for you, sorry it's taken me so long! Anyways Brea is now 4 Months, where does the time go?

I take her into the doctor tomorrow for her 4 month check up and shots....ugh! I'm so anxious to see how much she weighs and how tall she is. It seems like she has grown a ton since her last appointment.

Brea learns something everyday it seems like
She loves when we read books because she can play with the pages
She is quite the talker now, sometimes we can't get her to be quiet
When she wakes up in the morning she will talk to herself in her crib for awhile before we go get her
She loves to play with her toys and snuggle with her blankies
She can roll over from her stomach to her back if we prop her up on something
She doesn't like to be flat on her stomach on the floor
She is very ticklish and laughs when we tickle her.
She smiles a ton. She'll smile when your not even trying to get her to smile.
She is so much fun to watch and see what new things she will do each day

I found the recipe for Goyza the other day. I forgot that I had it and I hadn't had it since I was young, so I decided I better make it.

Mixed together some shredded carrots, green onion, green pepper, cabbage, ground beef, soy sauce, garlic salt, corn starch, and some salt and pepper.

These are what I wrapped my mixture in.

Fried them up in some oil and water and WALAH......GOYZA!
I hadn't had them in so long I forgot how good they are...mmmm

3 Months

Time has flown by, this girl is already 3 months old.

Some things she does right now are:
tries to sit up when we lay her down
smiles ALOT
coos and talks
tries to copy what we do
plays with and grabs at her toys
she has been sleeping through the night for quite a while but just the past few nights she has woken up at 4:30 wanting to eat and then goes right back to sleep.
sits in her bumbo chair
loves to lay on the floor or in her bouncer and kick like crazy
she is getting stronger now and can stand up with our help.
It's so fun to watch her learn new things and grow. We can't wait to see what she will do next!

I just wanted to say how much I loved this girl and how much I will miss her! She was the best and only dog I had growing up. She was 14 years old. Today she was put down because she was blind, deaf, couldn't eat, she couldn't control her bowels, and she was in alot of pain.
It's so hard to see such a good pet go but she is so much better off now. We'll see you in heaven Miya, Love you!

This year we went to California for Christmas. We got to spend it with Pete's parents and his sisters and their families.

Brea is such a big girl now. We took her to sit on Santa's lap because we figured she might be scared of him next year and we wanted to get a good picture.

2 Month Shots!

Brea had to go in for her 2 month shots this week. Poor girl got two shots at the same time and cried and screamed louder than I have ever heard her cry.

The best part was that she got Pink Camo band aids. Pete loved the band aids!

Brea is getting cubby! She weighed in at 11 pounds. She has gained a lot of weight since the last appointment. She loves her milk!
Dad loves to make her stand. She can stand with a little help and is getting a strong legs and neck. She can hold her head up and we have even put her in her Bumbo chair. She is such a fun girl and is happy. We are so blessed.

This girl is growing so fast. Lately she has been smiling so much and she is starting to even coo and giggle a little.

Sunday was Brea's big blessing day. We were so happy that mom and dad Morphy could make it to Vernal to celebrate miss B's special day.

We love the weekends because Pete gets to be home all day with us. We woke up Saturday morning and it was a pretty nice day. It was a little bit chilly but warm enough that we could take Brea outside. We bundled her up and she loved the long walk that we took.

This girl is growing! Pete was helping me change her diaper the other day and he commented on how she was getting chubbier. I can tell mostly in her face and her belly. When I took her to her 2 week appointment she was 7 lbs 1 oz. I wonder what she is this week?

We laugh at the way she sleeps sometimes. Most of the time her hands are over her face but today she was spread eagle. We love this little girl so much. She is starting to smile more and become more alert when she is awake. I'm so excited that she is growing fast but it makes me sad that she will never be this little ever again!

Everyone keeps asking me to post details of how the delivery went and about Brea, so here it is. We went to the hospital at 8:00 on Friday morning. I was contracting every 2-4 minutes. The doctor came in at about 9:00 and did an ultrasound. He told us that there wasn't enough amniotic fluid to flip her and that he didn't want to wait any longer to deliver her. They scheduled a c-section for 45 minutes later. The nurses got me all prepared and they rolled me down to surgery. At 11:30 Brea Morphy was born, weighing 6 lbs 6 oz and 20.5 inches long. We were not expecting to have a baby on Friday when we went in, but we are sure glad that we did!

Brea Morphy

So we went into the hospital on Friday morning to try a version. After Dr. Griffith did the ultrasound he said Brea was still breech and there wasn't enough amniotic fluid to try and flip her, he also said that she would probably not flip herself. He was nervous because if there is not enough fluid, it could cause damage to her kidneys. The doctor called down to surgery and wanted to do a c-section in an hour.

We can't believe she is here. We weren't expecting her to come this early, but we are so glad that she got here safely and that she is healthy! We love her so so much, she is tons of fun!

Baby news

So we went to the doctor yesterday and everything is great except Brea is still breech. Doctor Griffith is having me come in on Friday morning to see if he can flip her over. There are so many different things things that can happen when he is doing the version. My water could break, the placenta could tear, it could put too much stress on the baby, it could put stress on me and cause me to go into labor, the cord could get wrapped around her neck or pinched somewhere, she won't flip over, or she will flip over. I could possibly have to have a c-section on Friday if one of these things happen. If he gets her to turn over he might try to induce me right then so that she doesn't have the chance to flip back to the breech position. (But he only can induce me if I'm favorable). If he can't get her to flip over then we have a c-section set up for the 21st (Pete's, Lola's, and Adam's b-day). Crazy girl is comfortable and stubborn...she doesn't want to move! We just want her to be healthy and get here safely (whichever way that might be).

A couple of days ago Lesha had a volleyball game in Springville. My parents hate to leave the dog in her cage all day long so they asked if I would watch the dog.

I brought her bed over so she could lie in it but I guess she preferred our couch. She is really old, stiff, and blind, but she's a good dog!

I thought I better post about my husband and how awesome he is. He always thinks of me first and does so much for me. He goes to work, goes to school, does his homework, has a church calling, and on top of that he helps me with things around the house. Cooking, cleaning, laundry, ect... I couldn't have found a better husband. I don't deserve someone so great, how did I get so lucky.

I can't wait for Brea (yes I think we finally decided on her name) to be here. Pete is going to be an awesome dad and Brea will probably think he is way cooler than me. Thanks Pete for all you do. I appreciate and Love you soooo much!

p.s. I have about a month left. What do you think, when will she come? Early, late, or right on time?

This past Labor Day weekend we went up to Flaming Gorge to do some camping and boating.

My sister had her baby last month and my sister-in-law Camilla just had her baby on the 1st (congratulations Cam and Mike). All these new babies are making me go crazy, and it doesn't help being around all the new babies at work. I want our little girl to be here sooooo bad! I am now 32 weeks and I'm counting down the days.

THE BELLY/BABY! I am now 29 and a half weeks. I can't believe how fast it has gone by, but I wish it was going faster. We can't wait for her to get here so we can love on her. I've got 10 more weeks left if I go 40 weeks, but I'm praying that it will be earlier.

My sister Jessie is moving today! We have been helping them pack their things all weekend and today is the big day. I am extremely sad! We moved back so we could be closer and now they are moving away. Kurt is going to Law school in Washinton and I know he will be a great Lawyer when he is all finished but we will miss them so much and know that things will work out for them in Washington. So I'm really late on this post. We went to California for a week to spend time with Pete's family at their cabin. We had such a blast and didn't want to leave. My sister-in-law's and my mother-in-law threw Camilla and I a baby shower. It was so nice. I got lots of great gifts and everything looked so cute.

This is our new niece, Remi RaNae Gasser. We love her so much and are so happy that she is finally here. She is so sweet and a great baby. Everyone can't get enough of her and we fight about who gets to hold her next. She makes us even more excited and anxious for our little girl to get here. Congratulations Kurt and Jessie!

We made it a year! I can't believe how time flys. It doesn't seem like we've been married that long. I love being married to Pete and can't wait for our many anniversaries to come!

Pete got me my favorite (gerber daisys). They were so pretty and it made my day!

The 4th!

We had a really fun 4th! We took off for the lake first thing in the morning. We even brought the dog (She loves to stand like this on the front of the boat) It was such a nice day and the water felt so good! We all waited a little bit too long to put sunscreen on and got burnt. It was a blast to hang out with the family and play in the water!

Braiden is the pro wakeboarder in the family!

After the lake we went over to grandma's and had a BBQ, fireworks, games, and all the good stuff.

We did a whole bunch of our own fireworks once it got dark and then watched the fireworks show that goes on each year.

We had a great 4th and hope everyone else did too!
