Carmel Beach!

On Martin Luther King Jr. day, since we didn't have school or work, we decided to take a trip to Carmel Beach and bring back some memories of where Pete and I got engaged!

We stopped in Monterey first and did a little sight seeing

The boys wanted piggy back rides....... I guess I'm a whimp, I couldn't hold Pete on my back!

We found this weird animal! It wouldn't move when we got close to it. Everyone wanted to see if it would move if we touched it, but nobody was brave enough to do it!
Awesome and very cute parents!
Mere and I just being silly!
Pete and I took a romantic walk down the beach to the spot where he proposed!
Great Memories!

Green River

This is one thing that we did in Utah that Pete was really excited about. He loves to fish and the Green River is a great place to do it.
Here is Pete fly fishing....what a stud! ha

Dad was the only one that caught anything but he had to let it go because you can't keep fish between 15 and 22 inches.

We parked at the top and had to hike down to the river. Going back it was pretty steep but we stopped to rest and take this picture.

Winter Wonderland!

Wolf Creek! This is where we stayed for a few days before Christmas. It was so nice and there were so many fun things to do!

We checked into the condo on Sunday the 21st around 4:00. We just hung out, played games, ate, and checked out all the fun things to do. The next day we headed up the road to the ski slopes to do some snowboarding! It snowed all day long so we had plenty of snow to play with.

Mom and Dad skied and the rest of us did some snowboarding. We had a blast!
Our awesome snowman! Ha Ha. We didn't have all the accessories we usually use for building a snowman so we did our best with what we had. The hat-a breadbowl, eyelashes-pringle chips, eyes, buttons, and mouth-sausage bits, and the nose-a stick of celery.

It snowed all day and everyday that we were at wolf creek. Pete scrapped the snow off our car before we went to bed and when we woke up the next morning it was like this.

The snow was really deep and Pete couldn't resist pushing me in it! It was up to our knees while we were standing!

There was a club house that had tons of fun things to do. There was pool tables, exercise rooms, saunas, hot tubs, and racquet ball. Racquet ball was one of our favorite things to do. It was halarious to watch and play.

We sat in the hot tub every night because it felt soooo good after a long day in the snow!

We left Wolf Creek on Christmas Eve morning and drove to Vernal! When we got home we had a really yummy Christmas Eve dinner! Pasta, steak, rolls, salad, pina coladas.....so good!

Christmas Morning! Pete's remote control helicopter was his favorite present. The guys had a blast flying that thing around the house!

Christmas Day at 5:00 we had our family party over at my Uncle Chad's house. We ate dinner, had dessert, played bingo, played chimes, hit the pinata, had a nativity, and had fun of course!

Cute Grandma Labrum and Boston

We had an awesome Christmas vacation and hope everyone else did too! We wish you all a Happy New Year! Yay 2009!
